The founding partners of STFA, Mr. Sezai Turkes and Mr. Feyzi Akkaya, believe that education is the inaugural basis for a prosperous society. In their efforts to express gratitude to their great nation, Mr. Sezai Turkes and Mr. Feyzi Akkaya take great pride in contributing two Foundations to the world of education:

Inanc Foundation The Inanc Foundation was established in 1990 by Mr. Sezai Turkes and his daughter Mrs. Tomris Taskent for the purpose of building, administering and funding the Inanc High School. The Inanc High School provides free education for gifted Turkish learners. Inanc High School’s mission is to promote the academic, social, emotional and physical growth of each of its students in order to prepare them to enter the world as future leaders in academia, business, science, the arts and government. Inanc High School will pay an increasingly important role in educational experimentation. Its students will learn in a stimulating environment that encourages cooperation and sharing. The graduates of the school will be creative individuals with intellectual curiosity and advanced cognitive skills.
In 2002, Inanc Foundation is donated to Turkish Education Foundation.

Feyzi Akkaya Temel Education Foundation
Mr. Feyzi Akkaya founded the Feyzi Akkaya Temel Education Foundation in 1978. The foundation’s principal purpose is to train intermediary technical staff. The foundation accomplishes this by granting scholarship aid to students seeking training in Technical and Vocational High Schools in Turkey. The foundation also contributes to the Ministry of National Education by building schools and providing educational equipment. The Feyzi Akkaya Temel Education Foundation currently provides scholarship to 3,070 students annually.
