STFA is specialised in all aspects of surveying and terrestrial, photogrammetric
and bathymetric mapping. STFA deploys state of the art technology in all
activities ranging from control surveys to digital mapping. GPS surveys
have become an indispensable part of the control surveys and other positioning
applications. Terrestrial mapping practices are digital from the field
to the office using GPS, total stations, computers and plotters. Photogrammetric
mapping is carried out using digital photogrammetric systems. STFA has
image processing equipment and software for photogrammetric mapping. In
all projects, STFA is keen to collect intelligent graphical data and associated
attributes in order to create database needed for LIS/GIS establishment.
STFA also has experience on land consolidation, agricultural surveys and
the estabilshment of agricultural information systems. Finally, STFA provides
services for bathymetric mapping and oceanographic surveys using modern
positioning and depth measurement devices.
