1965 Bartın Harbour. Turkey's first submarine base.

1968 Marine Terminal of Aliağa Refinery in Turkey; first ever use of a jack-up platform designed by Feyzi Akkaya.

1970 First utilization of TBM in Turkey at Kadıncık II HEPP.

1972 Construction of Tripoli Harbour in Libya. STFA's and Turkey's first ever international contract.

1973 Designing and manufacturing of a 1,200 ton gantry crane for the launching of caissons for the Tripoli Harbour, Libya.

1978 Establishment of Feyzi Akkaya Temel Education Foundation for the provision of scholarships in vocational training.

1978 Muna Tunnels in Makkah. The first Turkish Contractor in Saudi Arabia.

1981 220 kV, 145 km Energy Transmission Line. The first contract in United Arab Emirates.

1981 Soil Investigation Works at Dimyat Port Extension. The first Turkish contractor in Egypt.

1983 Jask, Qeshm and Lengeh Ports in Persian Gulf. The first Turkish contractor in Iran.

1983 Honorary Doctorate Degrees awarded to Sezai Türkeş and Feyzi Akkaya from Istanbul Technical University.

1984 Gabes Port. The first Turkish contractor in Tunisia.

1985 Second Bosphorus Bridge and 230 km Motorway Project in Istanbul, Turkey. The bridge is the sixth longest among the similar suspension bridges in the world.

1985 First utilisation of jet grouting in Turkey in Istanbul Sewerage Project.

1986 First utilisation of Cast-in-situ Free Cantilever Method in Kömürhan Bridge in Turkey.

1990 Sezai Türkeş and Feyzi Akkaya became the first recipients of the “State Great Service Medal and Certificate” in recognition of their excellent work in engineering and contracting in Turkey and abroad.

1990 Establishment of İnanç Foundation with the aim of providing free education for gifted but economically disadvantaged high school students.

1992 Construction of Galata Bridge in which the combination of diameter, length and quantity of piles rank the foundation of this bridge amongst the largest known in engineering.

1992 Two sections of Indus Highway Projects. The first Turkish contractor in Pakistan.

1992 Construction of the highest chimney ever built in Turkey with height 275 m for Orhaneli Thermal Power Plant Project.

1994 500 kV, 374 km Energy Transmission Line. The first project in Turkmenistan.

1995 Construction of Turkey's first LNG Terminal Project.

1997 735 kV Bosphorus Energy Transmission Line Crossing in İstanbul, Turkey.

1998 500 kV Egypt-Jordan Interconnection Project ensuring the intercontinental connection of Asia and Africa.

1998 Manufacturing and placing of 1600 mm diameter HDPE pipe to -50 meter depth for the first time in the world for Antalya Sea Outfall Project

2000 Sohar Port. The first Turkish contractor in Oman.

2000 Lakhdaria-Bouria Highway Tunnel. The first contract in Algeria.

2000 Ras Laffan Port Service Berth. The first Turkish contractor in Qatar.

2001 Piled Foundation Works for DMRC Viaducts from Trinagar to Rithala. The first contract in India.

2004 Construction of 1795 m of tunnel excavation work in 2.5 months for King Khalid Tunnel Project in Saudi Arabia.

2005 Establishment of Al Habtoor - STFA Soil Group L.L.C. in Dubai with the local Al Habtoor Engineering Enterprise Co. L.L.C.
