Temporary Completion Certificate of Seawater Intake and Return System of Sohar Industrial Area project has been received on 10.May.2006. The contract was signed on 20.November.2002 between the Ministry of National Economy of Oman and STFA – BAHWAN Consortium.

The project realised in Sohar Industrial Area on EPC basis covered the construction of Seawater Intake and Outfall works. The project consists of a seawater intake designed for a maximum flow rate of 334,000 m3/h and an outfall designed for a maximum flow rate of 325,000 m3/h. The total value of the project is 52,081,780 US Dollars.

STFA Temel Pile Construction Company has been awarded Bored Piling Works of Sohar Aluminum Smelter Project in Oman on 10.May.2006. The client is Sohar Aluminum Smelter Company LLC and EPC Contractor is Bechtel & Co. LLC.

The project covers the construction of bored piles with diameters varying  from 600 mm to 1000 mm and lengths from 27.5 m to 35 m. The pile loading tests are within the scope of the contract. The value of the project is 6,149,750 US Dollars.
