STFA has awarded the construction of Marine Import/Export and Berthing Facilities of Opet Marmara Terminal

STFA Temel Pile Construction Company has signed a contract with Opet Petrolcülük on September 21, 2004 for the Marine Import/Export and Berthing Facilities of Opet Marmara Terminal. The contract value is 4.3 trillion Turkish Liras (appr. 3M USD) in which the main construction materials are to be supplied by Opet. The Contract duration is 1 year. The contract scope comprises of the construction of marine import / export facilities of a 260m and 550m jetty and berthing structure. The substructure consists of driving of 246 nos of steel tubular piles of 1219mm diameter and 16mm thickness, with 1250m excavation in hard rock, along with the complete superstructure works.
