STFA awarded piling works of Soyak Bluecity Project in İzmir, Turkey
STFA Temel Pile Construction Company has been awarded the piling works of the First Phase Building Works in İzmir Soyak Bluecity Project on 21.02.2006.
The project covers the construction of bored piles each having a diameter of 80 cm and a length of 35 m. The duration of the project is 4 months and the value is 1,286,236 YTL + VAT.
The contract is only for workmanship and the material will be supplied by the client.
STFA awarded a piling contract from Dubai International Properties
Al Habtoor–STFA Soil Group LLC. has signed a contract with Dubai International Properties (DIP) for “Piling Works for La Ville Contemporaine (The Lagoons), DHCC 2 Bridges and Elevated Roads” on 09.02.2006.
The project covers the construction of bored piles with diameters varying from 600 mm to 1500 mm. The value of the project is 28,071,185 ABD Doları and the construction period is 264 days.
STFA SOIL GROUP has succesfully completed two of his contracts in Oman.
Piling Works of the Offsite Area, Sohar Refinery Project in Oman” was completed on 30.08.2004.The agreement was made on 19 January 2004 with Dodsal Co. LLC. The project consisted of 2134 nos cast in situ bored piles with outer diameters varying from 450 mm to 600 mm with a total length of 21805 m. The Piling Works Related to Sohar Refinery Project Sohar, Oman”, were completed on 19 August 2004. The agreement was made on 27. December 2003 with CCC Oman L.L.C. The scope of the project covered 5796 nos of cast in situ bored piles with outer diameters varying from 450 mm to 900 mm with a total length of 54497 m.
Final Completion Certificate for Azzawiya LPG Recovery Plant Project has been granted
STFA has been granted with the Final Completion Certificate for Azzawiya LPG Recovery Plant Project in Libya on 11.October.2004. The project had been awarded on 1.December.1997 and the temporary completion certificate had been granted on 26.August.2001
STFA has awarded the construction of Marine Import/Export and Berthing Facilities of Opet Marmara Terminal
STFA Temel Pile Construction Company has signed a contract with Opet Petrolcülük on September 21, 2004 for the Marine Import/Export and Berthing Facilities of Opet Marmara Terminal. The contract value is 4.3 trillion Turkish Liras (appr. 3M USD) in which the main construction materials are to be supplied by Opet. The Contract duration is 1 year. The contract scope comprises of the construction of marine import / export facilities of a 260m and 550m jetty and berthing structure. The substructure consists of driving of 246 nos of steel tubular piles of 1219mm diameter and 16mm thickness, with 1250m excavation in hard rock, along with the complete superstructure works.
STFA is in Saudi Arabia after 15 years with a tunnel project
RIO Trading and Contracting Limited Company has submitted a tender for the “First Part of Design and Construction of the Expansion of King Khalid Bridge Until El Muayssem Road Project” of Ministry of Rural Affairs of Saudi Arabia on 20th July 2004.
Following the announcement of the tender results the client has invited the companies for discount in their tenders with an open tender system. Subsequently on 24th July 2004 a contract has been signed for the project between the client and RIO Trading and Contracting Limited Company for 158,000,000 Saudi Riyals (42,133,000 US Dollars) .
RIO Company has subcontracted the tunnel works of the project to RIO-STFA Construction Co. with a Subcontract Agreement which has been signed on 4th August 2004. The value of the tunnel works is 97,572,676 Saudi Riyals (26,019,000 US Dollars) .
The works cover the design and construction of the 2 vehicular tunnels of length 830 m, having 16 m width and 10 m height . The excavation works of the tunnels have to be completed in 6 months until the Hadj period for pedestrian traffic and also the project has to be finalized with all electrification works in 16 months duration for vehicular traffic. This tunnel shall be a solution for the problems faced especially during the Hadj region.
The tunnel equipment of the project has been purchased from Sweden and transported via air for fast mobilization.

Mobilization and Engineering/Design Works have been started for the first private sector investment project in Iran “Rudeshur 750 MW (3X250) Simple Cycle Power Plant Project”.
STFA has signed a contract with Unit International S.A. for the first private sector investment project in Iran “Rudeshur 750 MW (3X250) Simple Cycle Power Plant Project”. Mobilization and Engineering/Design Works have been started on 29.06.2004. The scope of works are civil erection, electromechanical installation and supply of mechanical equipment, materials and MBOP. The value of the project is 32.000.000 Euro and the expected project duration is 22 months.
STFA has been granted with the Temporary Completion Certificate for the Construction of Islamabad Embassy Building.
The embassy building and the residential complex of Islamabad Embassy has been constructed by STFA and the completion certificate has been received on 17.November.2003.
STFA Marine Construction Company has started to mobilize for the Arzew Oil Port Breakwater Repair Project in Algeria.
STFA Marine Construction Company has started to mobilize for the Arzew Oil Port Breakwater Repair Project in Algeria. The project will be carried out by STFA-Cosider-Meditram Groupment with a total budget of 10 Million USD. The project is financed by the Ministry of Public Works of Algeria and Directory of Public Works of Oran. STFA’s scope of work in the Groupment will cover the placement of 80.000 tons of stone material, 720 numbers and 40 tons of tetrapod precast concrete members and 3332 numbers of 4.16 m3 of cubes. The duration of the project will be 12 months.
